Pierre Lafond holds a degree in Agricultural Environmental Engineering with a concentration in agronomy from the Faculty of Agriculture of Laval University. His training has enabled him to acquire a scientific background that he has put to good use on several mine site restoration and greening projects, particularly at the Arcelor Mittal and Lac Bloom sites in Fermont and IOC-Rio Tinto in Labrador.
Pierre has a strong interest in soil conservation, water management and environmental technologies, all of which are part of a sustainable development approach. He joined the Viridis Terra International team with the aim of taking concrete actions to restore degraded environments ecologically.
