Cynthia Zavalla

Budget & Financial Technical Models Coordinator

Cynthia Zavalla holds a master's degree in applied public management from the Technological Institute of Monterrey, Mexico, and is an economist from the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru.

She has more than 20 years of experience designing, implementing, monitoring, and evaluating public policies, programs, and projects aimed at the sustainable development of vulnerable populations, holding senior management and advisory positions in the Peruvian public sector.

She participated in various public-private initiatives, including the design and implementation of projects related to the green economy and the generation of green jobs with the International Labor Organization (ILO), and in the creation of agrobiodiversity conservation projects in the Andean region of Peru for the Global Environment Facility (GEF) on behalf of the Ministry of Environment and the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO).
